Our policies allow us to provide a higher standard of service, so we have implemented them to offer you an exceptional experience. Unfortunately, appointment cancellation fees are necessary due to unavoidable expenses and valuable time allocated to every patient when they make appointments.
APPOINTMENTS
We offer several options for your convenience to reserve an appointment. You may schedule an appointment by calling our office, going to our website, clicking a button for booking through email or phone, or going to Instagram.
When reserving your appointment, depending on the appointment’s nature, you will be asked to use a credit card to guarantee the appointment, however, you will not be charged a fee. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment or fail to show up, then an appointment cancellation fee will be applied to your credit card. (See cancellation policy below). A reminder for your appointment will be sent via text or email, which you can confirm. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please call us at (407) 974-6855 or email teamdrjaesthetics@gmail.com. Please note that when you schedule an appointment, that signifies your acceptance of the policies.
WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE?
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time for your first appointment. This appointment will require paperwork, a brief medical history form, and consents. For any other appointment types, please arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment. Please remember to bring your photo ID with you.
IS THERE ANYTHING I SHOULD DO PRIOR TO MY APPOINTMENT?
We provide all pre and post-treatment instructions verbally, digitally, and in print. For example, we ask you to shave the treatment area before the laser hair removal treatment (we usually recommend that you shave the day before). If not, we may have to reschedule your treatment. Our patients receiving facials, please arrive without makeup, if possible. You also have the option to cleanse your skin here, please be sure to allow enough time to do so before your appointment.
WHAT IF I AM LATE TO MY APPOINTMENT?
If you are not able to be on time, we will do our best to complete as much of the treatment as possible. Please keep in mind with some treatments, it may be necessary to reschedule your appointment. In fairness to others, your treatment must end on time so the next scheduled patient’s service can begin on time. If you arrive late for your appointment, your session may be shortened to accommodate other patients whose appointments follow yours. Depending on how late you arrive for your appointment. We will have to determine if enough time remains to start treatment. You may be asked to reschedule your appointment for another time.
WHAT IS THE CANCELLATION POLICY?
Your appointment is reserved exclusively just for you. Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please notify us 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. All services cancelled less than 24 hours in advance are considered a “no-show” and will be subject to the $50 appointment cancellation / no show fee. This courtesy enables us to maintain a higher availability for our patients. Please note that you are agreeing to this policy by scheduling an appointment.
DEPOSITS
Deposits are applied toward service fees and will NOT be refunded due to cancellation. NO exceptions. Appointment times are booked according to your scheduled procedure. Therefore, the deposit confirms your booking. The deposit fee does not go toward future appointments.
If you purchase a package or treatments during a special event, you could be required to pay non-refundable deposit for the treatment and in case of “NO SHOW” or “Late Cancel” you will loose any deposit paid towards treatment/procedure.
NO refunds, exchanges, or credit card chargebacks will be accepted. If, for any reason, the payment does not process, you will be responsible for the owed deposit and billed. Future appointments cannot be made prior to resolving the deposit fee owed.
REFUND POLICY?
While we make every effort to make our customers as happy as possible, ALL SALES ARE FINAL and are non-transferable. We are a small business and, unfortunately cannot offer refunds on any used or unused appointments/sessions for individual services, service packages, or service series. Dr J Anti-Aging, New U Med Spa, LLC, and its associated businesses reserve the right to review all refund requests and decide on any resolution (if any). If you purchase a package or treatments during a special event or with special pricing, we will not refund, but we may choose to provide in-store credit.
PAYMENTS
Payments for all procedures and services are prepaid. We accept Mastercard, Visa, AMEX, Discover, Care Credit, Cash and Cashier’s check. We DO NOT accept personal checks. Depending on the treatment amount, payment options may be available.
GIFT CERTIFICATES
Giving a gift certificate is convenient, and since you choose the denomination, they are right for any budget. Gift Certificates are non-refundable and not a valid form of payment for a no-show or cancellation fees. We offer custom gift cards, if you need a custom gift card, please let us know and allow at least 30 minutes for them to be available for you.
GENERAL POLICIES
A credit card is required to secure all appointments. All prices, policies and services are subject to change without notice. Scheduling an appointment is your acceptance of these policies. All sales are final. Charges for all procedures/treatments will be collected before the provider begins the treatment/procedure.
Children, Visitors & Pet Policy
Although we love children and pets, we cannot accommodate children or pets in the spa. So please plan accordingly prior to your appointment.
Visitors (ex: spouses, friends) are welcome to come; however, they must wait in the waiting lounge during your treatment/procedure. This policy is to ensure that you get full attention during your treatment/procedure. Offered treatments/procedures are very precise and require great concentration and attention to detail without distractions for the best results. NO visitors will be allowed in the treatment studio. If your visitor would like a consultation, they must have an appointment booked prior to arrival.
Pregnant & Breastfeeding Women
We do not offer services to pregnant or breastfeeding women for safety reasons. Although, it is probably safe. We don’t have scientific studies to prove it’s safe because of ethical concerns. We always consider safety a priority.
Privacy Policy
1. If your Privacy policy states that information is shared with affiliates/third parties, Please ensure that you have this clause added under data sharing information:
“All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the Text Message services.”
2. In the case that you do not have any data sharing information in your privacy policy, Please make sure to add this clause to ensure compliance:
“No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.”
